After a week of practice rounds, press conferences and cheese-head shenanigans, the 24 players from Team USA and Europe are finally ready to tee it up in the 2021 Ryder Cup. The fun gets started at Whistling Straits Friday morning with four matches of the foursomes format – or more commonly known as alternate shot. In foursomes, the players alternate shots. One player will take the tee shot on odd-numbered holes and the other will do so on even-number holes. Eight of the current top 10 world ranking players are on Team USA. Open champion Collin Morikawa is one of six Ryder Cup rookies in the 12-man squad. Other than captain Stricker, their most experienced Ryder Cup player is Dustin Johnson. The 37-year-old has previously played in game odds mlb four tournaments. According to DataGolf’s True Strokes Gained, Schauffele and Cantlay have been two of the six best players in the world over the last six months.
